Hello, Welcome to BioSun Energy.

BioSun Energy was established in 2014 to help those “early adopters” looking to install renewable energy heating systems in their Kent or Sussex homes.

From our base in the beautiful Sussex countryside, we have spent the past nine years helping homeowners, self-builders and industry professionals’ benefit from renewable energy to reduce their carbon footprint, to keep their homes cosy and warm and to future-proof them against rising fossil fuel prices.

We started with one engineer, installing biomass boilers but as the renewables industry evolved and grew so did we and we now have a wealth of experience and expertise across renewable technologies. We also have a wider electrical, plumbing, insulation and building expertise, so we can offer everything from a new hot water cylinder to “whole-house” energy solutions

We are now focused on installing good quality European heat pumps, along with underfloor heating (UFH) solar PV throughout Kent and Sussex. We are accredited partners for Stiebel-Eltron, Vaillant and Nibe heat pumps.

As a local business we know the importance of delivering top-quality service and always work with our customers to determine the best heating and hot water system for them and their home, from our initial survey to completion of works.

Our engineers are fully qualified, and we are focussed on:

Quality assured

Because we are members of the Federation of Small Businesses, the Government’s Trustmark scheme and the industry’s Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) we are regularly audited to ensure the quality of our work.  

We are also members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) and follow the RECC Consumer Code.

This means that not only are you able to take advantage of the latest technology to reduce your energy bills and heat your home but we are also able to offer you Government incentives, such as the recently launched Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) which provides a £5,000 lump sum towards your heating project.

Our renewable heating solutions, therefore, enable you to actively reduce your carbon footprint and benefit financially in the short, medium, and long term.

Areas we cover:

We cover an area roughly bounded by the M23 in the west, M25 in the north and M20 in the west but have done larger projects further afield, such as in Essex.

The main towns we cover range from East Grinstead, Forest Row, Uckfield, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill in the west, right across the Weald to Maidstone, Sevenoaks and Ashford. And taking in everything inbetween including Crowborough, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Wadhurst, Goudhurst, Biddenden and Tenterden, and south from Newhaven and Seaford, through Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings and Battle to Rye.
