10 years keeping you warm and the planet cool

Well that crept up on us suddenly!

Being busy with the day-to-day work of installing heat pumps, we almost missed our 10^th Year Anniversary.

Things have changed rapidly in the renewables world over the past ten years but we have always strived to provide our customers with the best renewable heating system that works for them and their house. And we still do!

In 2014, our focus was on biomass boilers and thermal stores coupled with solar thermal – a great combination but it was never going to have mass market appeal.

When the Government decided to push the electrification of our homes’ heating systems, to meet our carbon emissions targets on the way to Net Zero, the renewables industry pivoted to heat pumps, underfloor heating and solar PV - which is now the mainstay of our business.

There have been numerous ups and downs along the way especially with Government frequently changing the rules and some of the incentive schemes on offer, from the rather complicated Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) through the disaster that was the Green Homes Grant to the tried and tested Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) that we have now.

Through it all, our team has grown and developed and supported our customers in their transition to a greener, and often cheaper, way of heating their homes.
