Animal Magic! Heat pump for a vet's new-build near Tunbridge Wells

• 1 x Stiebel-Eltron WPL-05 air source heat pump
• 1 x Stiebel-Elton HSBC 225l cylinder with integrated cylinder
• 1 x Underfloor heating (UFH) using Roth knob-panel system and Touchline controls

We were contacted by a vets' practice, just outside Tunbridge Wells, to provide a renewable heating solution for a large, new-build extension to the business.

They needed efficient heating and hot water during working hours for their busy practice - and a system that would work well with an MVHR (mechanical ventilation and heat recovery) system, needed to deal with the ventilation requirements of working with animals.

As the property was a well insulated new-build, after doing some heat loss calculations, we settled on a 5KW Stiebel-Eltron air source heat pump and a compatible 200l cylinder with built-in buffer. We combined that with a Roth underfloor heating system.

Now that's what we call Animal Magic!
